Disclosure (1994) is a psychological thriller directed by Barry Levinson, starring Michael Douglas as Tom Sanders and Demi Moore as Meredith Johnson. The story takes place inside the high-pressure world of a technology company, where Tom expects a promotion but instead finds himself working under his former girlfriend Meredith. After she makes an unwanted sexual advance toward him and he rejects her, Meredith files a sexual-harassment complaint against Tom, placing his career, reputation, and marriage at risk. Tom eventually discovers evidence that the encounter was deliberately manipulated and that Meredith is also involved in concealing serious problems with the company's production operations.

The film combines sexual harassment, workplace power, corporate politics, technology, and legal conflict into a thriller about how accusations can be used within a corporate struggle. A major element is the reversal of the conventional harassment scenario: a woman in a position of power harasses a male employee, challenging assumptions about who can be a victim or perpetrator. Critics were divided: some praised its treatment of harassment and its portrayal of corporate America, while others argued that the film reduced a serious subject to a plot device and relied on an implausible, complicated storyline.
